How to check your Goethe A1 result

In Pakistan, results usually arrive about 4 weeks (20 working days) after the exam. There is no need to visit anyone or call: the result appears online in the same My Goethe.de account you used to book your seat.

1. Go to the official My Goethe.de login page.
2. Log in with the email and password of the account you booked with.
3. Open the exams section and select your Goethe-Zertifikat A1 exam.
4. Check your points for each part and your overall result.

Only use the official Goethe website to check results. Don't share your login details with anyone who offers to check or speed up a result for you.

The exam has four parts (listening, reading, writing and speaking), each worth 25 points. You pass with 60 or more out of 100. Your points per part show where you were strong and where you lost marks, which is useful if you need to take the exam again. For more on the format, see the Goethe A1 exam guide.

You can book the exam again; there is no limit on attempts. Look at your points per part first. If you lost most marks in one part, spend your practice time there before booking the next date. If you need the certificate for a spouse visa, remember it must be under one year old when you apply, so pick a new date that still fits your visa plan.
