Common questions
What can I do with A2 German?
At A2 you can handle routine situations: shopping, booking appointments, talking about work and family, and writing short messages. It is the step between the basic A1 needed for a spouse visa and the B1 level many employers and Ausbildung programmes ask for.
Do I need an A1 certificate to join A2?
No certificate is needed, but you should know the A1 material. If you studied A1 somewhere else, a free level check shows whether you are ready or should review a few topics first.
How long does A2 take?
This course runs for 8 weeks with four 90-minute live classes a week, about 48 hours of class time, plus regular practice at home.
